Halsey -> IJA test (9/3/2011 6:16:36 PM)

Something like this, or do you want some generic holders.

Naming them like this won't happen overnight.[:D]

Hmm, maybe I should use a different color for the numbering...

Halsey -> Allied Update 36 (9/5/2011 5:50:31 PM)

Nice work Les!

Good to give players alternative bitmaps!
I keep duplicate folders, so I can compare and replace some of the older funky looking stuff.[;)]

More USAAF AGPs 1945-1946.

shinosuke -> RE: IJA test (9/7/2011 5:56:26 PM)

Mmmm Halsey There is only one Imperial Guards Division desnīt it ???

2 SNLF parechute, some IJA parachute (still donīt know).

The last for SNLF maybe is not the best, but its the only i have found, it is a helmet insignia, maybe it could be placed as generic for all SNLF

Terminus -> RE: IJA test (9/7/2011 5:57:40 PM)

Well, strictly speaking, there were three Guards divisions over the course of the war.

shinosuke -> RE: IJA test (9/7/2011 6:03:09 PM)

hehe thanks !!! I really donīt know if this insignia was for all of them or maybe just first one.....

Halsey -> IJA Gds update (9/7/2011 11:29:10 PM)

Yeah, I knew there was more than a couple Gd units.
18 total Gd units in the database, if I didn't miss any.[:D]

Going to finish USAAF AGPs before I go back to the Japanese.
Only around 150 left to do.[;)]

So enjoy these Guard units for a while.

Halsey -> Allied Update 37 (9/10/2011 6:35:48 AM)

USAAF AGPs 1945-1946, and a couple of updates.

Less than 50 bitmaps left for the USAAF.[;)]

Halsey -> IJ Update 2 (9/10/2011 7:58:51 AM)

Alright, you got lucky.[:D]
Since I'm close to finishing up the US AGPs.

Here's the IJ Para units and another Gd unit I found.

This is a small update for the Japanese.

Halsey -> IJ Update 3 (9/10/2011 9:33:41 AM)

Japanese SNLF's.

Halsey -> Allied Update 38 (9/10/2011 8:34:41 PM)

The last of the 1945-1946 USAAF AGPs, and an update.

Only fixes and new information will be done on these from now on.[;)]

m10bob -> RE: Allied Update 38 (9/10/2011 9:25:13 PM)

My reference material is on the way![;)]

Halsey -> IJ Update 4 (9/16/2011 5:22:18 AM)

Japanese LCU update, and corrections.[;)]

Halsey -> IJ Update 5 (9/18/2011 3:08:42 AM)

Going to attack the LCU's first instead.
I've got a better start on them, and the IJAF is going to be more tedious.[;)]

Japanese LCU update 5.

shinosuke -> RE: IJ Update 5 (9/18/2011 9:24:52 AM)

Nice.... Halsey, Do you need some help with documentation (insignias) about jap AGPs ???

Halsey -> RE: IJ Update 5 (9/18/2011 1:21:53 PM)

I've got good references on the Army AGPs, do you have anything that could be used for the Navy AGPs besides flight wings?.

All I see are fuselage and tail stripes for the Navy units, as they were identified differently than the Army groups.

shinosuke -> RE: IJ Update 5 (9/18/2011 3:46:47 PM)

This is the better I could find for the carrier groups..... It seems thereīs nothing just these coloured stripes.....
we also need some stuff for land based air groups (zero, betty, nell , etc...)

bk19@mweb.co.za -> RE: IJ Update 5 (9/18/2011 4:07:45 PM)

Not having an education in the French language I have used Google translate on the above text that may be more use to many such as myself.

quote:

Markings of the aircraft carrier IJN: (A) Akagi, (B) Kaga, (C) Soryu, (D) Hiryu, (E) Ryoju, (F) Shoho, (G) Taiyo, (H) Sokaku (I) Zuikako. Red 1st Division of aircraft carriers, blue, second division; nothing, third division; yellow, the fourth division, and white, the fifth division. Marks painted on the tail of each aircraft included an initial letter to identify the division aircraft carrier which owned the plane and a Roman numeral to indicate its position within the division (I: Ist, II: the second, etc. ...).

Halsey -> IJ Update 6 (9/18/2011 7:31:56 PM)

Who is this question directed to... shinosuke or myself?

Halsey -> RE: IJ Update 6 (9/18/2011 10:00:01 PM)

On a project llike this, I'll take help from any and all.

Get me as many unit organized plates as either of you can find, and I'll crop and rename them in due course.

Halsey -> IJ Update 7 (9/19/2011 10:04:57 PM)

Japanese support LCUs, partial listing.

TOMLABEL -> RE: IJ Update 7 (9/20/2011 5:56:01 AM)
