I am trying to initiate an online game, but when my opponent tries to log into my IP, it says the server is not available. The same happens if he istrying to host. Are there some specific router settings required to do so?

Routers seem to screw up the works for online games....there is another thread not too far down the list that has some advice, not sure if it will help or not.

Hello dthen01,

I have not found a way to get past the wireless router. My opponent and I can play only by connecting our computers to the modem (not the router) with wire.

There should be a way to perform "port forwarding" in order to let the games connect even through the routers, but I do not know the ports used by SPWAW. (,,,and I am not sure I could properly set port forwarding even if I knew the ports.)

By the way, The games is MAGIC when you play against another person instead of the AI! Have fun.
