Playing this game I've notice some interesting coincidences..since I did not see this detailed as FACTS about DW I will assume these are coincidences and not feature...as epic as they are.
.
I did not enjoy how quickly freight runners from independent colonies would hoard and over whelm my star ports. so i began to indiscriminantly shoot them down, after about 6 months they just ceased to come. (I'd let several live) I tracked the ships back to their home system. they had plenty of frieghters and it turned out they were sending them off somewhere else....that was very interesting
One that stands out the most to me was when I jumped a ship into a Securan system. it was their only system, they werent big on expanding despite having the ships to do so (weird huh) anywayI came in their system with a reclaimed Derelict Cruiser, they sent me a warning that they didnt appreciate a military ship in thier space. I brushed it off and parked my ship near their homeworld Moon, Soon after a Sluken strike group came in and dog fought the the defending ships, all they did was skirmish though the securans did lose ships. the sluken just left. I got another warning saying to move my ships. I paid no mind..then the amazing part. they formed their ships around my lone cruiser (they did not have anything larger than a frigate) so I thought hmm... I moved my ship just a ways away from the plant, and shortly after the ships came and surrounded me again. I was struck with awe, so i thought ok fine and I parked the cruiser on another companion moon just opposite of the gas giant their world surrounded...and they commited a number of vessels to continue to watch. :D amazingness
another hmm moment was when I was fighting a losing battle against the Zenox? my only world that had a Starport was attacked, her fleet crippled but not completely destroyed the Zenox then bashed away at the star port, breaking her shields and leaving large gashing holes in the ship. they then stopped firing hug around a little and left...i was lke O_O? then Pirates came and blew up the returning freighters who couldnt turn back because they were coming in hot from their safety systems :O what a bad day that was....thankfully I had the money to pay them off.
