I think if they made SHV exactly like SHIII, but just with upgraded graphics and AI behaviour they would be much BETTER off than the way they are now. They wanted to implement an RPG aspect to the game, which could have been fine, if they hadn't forgotten also look at the core gameplay. For some reason they rewrote that stuff from scratch as well. Never change a winning team. AMEN ! quote:
For those that don't know, SH5 has a new protection system that requires you to be on the internet the entire time you are playing even if its a solo game, however biggest flaw back is if your internet is interupted for any reason the game saves and exits right away, giving you no chance to remain in the game. Misconduct It gets worse too ! when you re join your saved game the weather is ALWAYS flat calm so that DD you were sneaking past in the heavy fog can now see you. Additionally all the 'effort' you put into getting the crews 'morale' up (a stupid points system whereby certain officers can do special magic-moves/abilities at the cost of some mana-points)is reset to Zero and the only thing that helps is a hearty warm meal ! .. who thought this up is a moron !
