Wirraway_Ace -> RE: Anyone got a turn checklist? (4/7/2010 3:44:06 PM)

Checklists are good, but I work a lot and have a new baby...so time management is key...also, on a game this scale, each turn should not be perfect in my view. The shear mass of detail should overwhelm, as it did the real commanders. I use a work-week checklist and a Sat/Sun morning checklist. The work week is simple: watch turn replay closely for messages like "TF snooped by enemy carrier aircraft; read intel (if allies); sort ship list by endurance to find all my escorts that are running out of fuel; refuel said escorts; give orders to units by Theater (always use the same order such as China the clockwise to Home Islands, etc.); double check orders to all CV TFs and any major combat sites. Sat/Sun morning checklist: Once a week, check all air units set to training and move pilots to the pools; review and update all submarine patrol areas; review all production; review all convoys; plan major ops and adjust LCU prep locations; perform work week turn tasks.
