long load times (Full Version)

Starting up the game takes about 2 - 3 minutes for me. I was wondering if it is like this for anyone else? Otherwise the game runs fine. It just seems like it shouldn't take so long to from clicking the .exe to getting to the main menu.

System Specs: Intel i7 3.2 6gb DDR3 RAM NVidia GTX 285 1TB SATA HDD Windows 7 Ultimate

Always been a slow start up for me too. but runs flawless once loaded. Haven't had any ctd's or anything since the day I got the game. Well worth the wait unlike most games :)

Yeah, other then the long start up load times, the game is fine for me too. I feel good about this game because the developers seem to be patching it and listening to the community to see what they need to fix and add. Really great 4x strategy game and I can appreciate the fact that it is even enjoyable for the more casual crowd too.
