jnpoint -> 1.0.3: investigate problem... (4/11/2010 7:45:16 AM)

One of my explorers had found a abandoned ship and asked to investigate it. Thats all fine, but then it asked again and again and again - for every 2-3 sekonds it paused the game to ask again. At last I just told it to leave the ship alone. It is not importent but somehow annoying.

But now has happened 3 times for me in the ongoing game, so now I have to tell it.

HAHA ! u found the "again and again and again" ship too , huh ?

i think it was an april fool's joke the developers put in recently last april 1st but forgot to take out of the game afterwards .

anyhow i think it is related to what someone else was saying in another post . it might be a ship that triggers an event concerning pirates and if u have pirates turned off then it may bug out the game . i dunno for sure , tho . i'm just guessing , but i've encountered that annoying ship in a few games and i had pirates turned off in those . do u have pirates turned off in your game ?

anywayz , what i do is simply avoid that area with the problem ship . i may send a fleet over to destroy it but i think the developers might have some code in there like :

{ if player attempts to destroy ship then CRASH GAME , BWAHAHAHA ! /end }
