A short cut or icon so that you can build a star base/research (etc) at any point of the screen/planet and then it will find nearest constructor and queue it with out the need to select a constructor.

This should already be possible by right clicking on the planet you want to build on.

This is true if you have a selected colonized planet and you try to create a base etc by it.

What I mean is if you select a gas planet (for instance) and you right click on it then a pop list pop-up and gives you possible option to build stuff, so the list should contain build gas mining base. Then you click build>>Gas mining base and then the game auto selects the closest construction and queues the request.
