I just purchased this game and tried to run it under Windows 7. It crashes to the debugger when I try to run the first turn of the Omaha scenario for PBEM. My mod is 1.01. I'm running in 64-bit. Attached is the DXDIAG. WTFO?

It turned out to involve display size. Reducing to 1024x768 cleared up the problem.
