The game is unplayable and crashes like mad and people are complaining about whether an alien race is feline or not

Hmm, my game is both playable and rarely if ever crashes. I can play for hours with no problems at all.

It honestly doesn't crash like mad for me...Once in a 8 hr session while I'm retrofitting an entire universes ships maybe.
What version are you on?

And I say they are more ferrets then cat therefore Rodent(oid)[;)]

Uhm thats a crash... And its not supposed to happen. No matter what you do.

Anyways im not getting back into a discussion of whether the game is broken or not (already talked enough about it and im not changing my mind)

I just find it funny that this is considered more important by some then actual serious issues. Its like somebody complaining about the color of a car that has dysfunctional brakes and steering.

And no im not saying it should stop ^^ I just wanted to comment on the (in my opinion) silliness of it :P

Have you ever considered the fact that it might be your equipment? Those of us discussing the family subject are not having serious issues, hence the reason we can focus on the mundane. The game is not crashing on my machine, and its older equipment running windows XP.

Not saying crashes aren't an issue, just saying that what you are experiencing isn't being experienced by the rest of us, therefor it isn't an issue for us. It still needs to be fixed, but essential information will be needed to pinpoint the problem if its happening to one group but not another.

As for your car analogy, if my brakes and steering weren't functioning, then I'd demand they were fixed or replaced. But in my case DW has no mechanical problems, so let's get the color I want.

1.0.4.4 (aka 1.04 beta4) is by far the most stable version I have played yet.
I had my first crash just now... after 12 hours straight of gameplay.
And I think saving and loading is faster too.

just make sure to play a small map... the larger ones are too intensive and cause problems.
