Les_the_Sarge_9_1 -> Is it just me or did the colour scheme just change (7/23/2002 5:07:41 AM)

Is it just me or did the forum just go from dark olive to bright cheery light blue greys.

If this is not a fluke then please keep it this way.

HerrGeneral -> (7/23/2002 5:25:49 AM)

Nope, sorry -- it's not a fluke. I think you will find that the main Matrix games site has changed as well. :)

rbrunsman -> (7/23/2002 6:31:16 AM)

Maybe I just don't like change, but I think this color scheme sucks.

U2 -> (7/23/2002 6:40:51 AM)

Hi

I cant find the page for the "in development" games. Perhaps its late and my brain is tired but I cant find it!

CCB -> (7/23/2002 6:41:28 AM)

At first I thought I had accessed the Wargamer board. I like it though.

AlvinS -> (7/23/2002 6:55:04 AM)

:eek: Need sunglasses. :cool: There...better.

The brighter colors take some getting used to, but it looks good.

pasternakski -> AAAARRRGGGHH!!! (7/23/2002 6:57:19 AM)

IT'S TOO BRIGHT! JEEZ, I JUST CAME UP FOR AIR FROM UV WITH ITS DARK BLUES AND DOGGONE NEAR WENT BLIND!

Actually, I don't think it's too bad, but when you get yellow smilies in it, you feel like you're walking down the housewares aisle in Wally World (WalMart fer them who ain't Arkies).

I suggest doing the background in a soft pastel rather than the "multiple shades of offwhite."

I think this means that Matrix is moving on from the first UV and SPWAW rush and trying to establish an identity for future endeavors. Shoot, it's still too bright!

Its real purty.

chief -> Old eyes (7/23/2002 10:03:37 AM)

Finally a color scheme that can be read by these old eyes, thank you, thank you Great Leader of SPWAW.....:) :D :cool:

David Heath -> (7/23/2002 10:39:03 AM)

Marc and I are changing things so the products and games in development will show up in the store and with more details.

New color isnt bad if you read it in daytime, but in the darkness of the night its just too bright, so i guess i have to wear sunglasses --> :cool:

So your only light source at nights is the monitor? Thats really bad for the eyes anyway, even with toned down colors. Same counts for the TV set ;)

Les_the_Sarge_9_1 -> (7/23/2002 6:03:09 PM)

Actually I like it as much as dont really know...

The bright colours make it cheery, but the darker original greens were like the comforting tones of the night (ok I am something of a creature of the dark too in some ways).

This can sounds funny, but I'll have more difficulties for sure, from now on, to read the forum at home.
My pc is in our bedroom, and I'm usually on till late, when my wife goes to sleep.She can bear with a darkish monitor, but i'm not so sure what she will say when see the whole room lighted up by this ultrabright pages :rolleyes:

Marc von Martial -> (7/23/2002 7:52:09 PM)

You read the forums when you wife lies next to you :confused: ;)
I´m amazed.

Supervisor -> (7/23/2002 9:34:14 PM)

My eyes are playing tricks on me, did the background bright white get changed again to a added gray line texture if so it is much more appealing. Thank you.

Marc von Martial -> (7/23/2002 9:58:27 PM)

Yes, I changed that to tone it a bit down.

davewolf -> (7/24/2002 12:42:38 AM)

Much more comfortable now.

Big Bill -> (7/24/2002 7:54:13 AM)

If Resisti's wife is anything like mine was, she's probably happy he's readin' forums instead of reachin' for 'em.

KG Erwin -> Give me comforting tones... (7/24/2002 9:11:11 AM)

...as we're generally dealing with topics that involve death & destruction. The games themselves are best dealt with on their own. For a general discussion, let's tone it down a bit. This color scheme doesn't suit tired eyes at all. I work on a PC all day in my job. When I want to talk, I want to feel like my opinion is welcome. This format doesn't do it. Addendum: The harshness has been reduced. That's much better. I can live with that. Thanks for paying attention, guys.

Chris21wen -> Bright. (7/24/2002 2:47:19 PM)

Oh its SO white. Looks like a Web site for a hospital. Please do something.:eek:

Layouts OK.
