The other races constantly ask me to trade maps. I dont wish to trade maps. I will never be willing to trade a map But I cant turn that question off, w/o turning other messages off. It is truly annoying Also why is it I can build on some colonies by clicking on the colony But I can never build a resort by clicking on the colony? what is up w that? These two issues add to the 'work' element of the game, distracting from the play element.

It would be nice to be able to have a fully hands-off empire that you could just let run for a year without being required to interact with.

It will still ask you about diplomatic stuff. Otherwise, yes, its all automated.
