teri -> mass management already implemented? (4/29/2010 3:45:49 PM)

the game advertises it self with "Truly Epic-Scale Galaxies: play in galaxies with up to 1400 star systems and 50,000 planets, moons and asteroids. Vast nebula clouds spiral out from the galactic core, shaping the distribution of star clusters in the galaxy", which is quite cool but managing all those?! my empire has grown quite large >200colonies. and i'm getting in major managing problems. are things still not implemented or have i overlooked these features? - every colony has at least a small space port, but how do i update all those to the new designs i made at once? retroiting every single one is a pain in the ass.... imagine doing that with 50k colonies every minor upgrade.... - same problems applies to ships too, they just clok small spaceport(just one consturction space) - mass ordering new ships: like 100cruisers get split up automatically on the big producing space stations in my empire. perhaps also with some view how busy my spaceports are. - mass colonization, just being able to send 1 ship to a planet and having the listbox reset to the beginning isn't efficient. - can the intelligent agents be auto managent by governing rules like: sabotage easy things in the xyz-empire till skill 400, then get territory/galaxy maps from all if the are older like 5years, then assign some agent for counter intelligence as needed, then steal all research and if all research is stolen revolt colonies or even incite rebellion. having to do this every 3 month with 10agents gets annoying... - managing the ships: perhaps like 50% of my cruisers should patrol the border and fight of enemies and pirates the other 50% should be made ready for offensive missions needing to be retroited, repaired, fueled and "trooped" up and moved to the border as well for shorter flights awaiting missions. hoping automanagement will do the trick or mothering every single isn't working well...
