It does say that it minimizes ship visibility "particularly at long range", if this means long range sensors beats me. It has the same info on stealth on both of the sensors pages, im guessing this means it works similar on both of them. When the ship is near the edge of the scanners range it works better, so I guess this means that long range sensors would detect them farther away? and the stealth visibility range of the stealth component is the minimum range it can remain cloaked before it becomes visible? edit: Ah, i see. Apparently it reduces the the range of enemy sensors kind of. So if a ships size is exactly equal to its stealth rating, its as if enemy sensors are only 50% of their normal range when looking for that particular ship. Im assuming it does the same for both, just different ranges??
