I have looked through the manual like a madman trying to find the answer to these questions. If you capture damaged resources/industry or if you expand different parts of your industry (shipyards, factories, aircraft, etc) what does it take to repair it (Mili is a perfect example.. starts out with damaged oil and refinery)? Do you need engineers on the base with the damaged assets, do you need supplies to repair it? If so.. what's a good number of engineers and how many supplies do you need? How long does it take to repair?

Finally, this may be answered in the previous questions, but are there any pointers to repair damaged assets at a faster rate? For example.. if I was running critically low on a certain type of engine are there any methods to speed up the repairing if you expanded one of the engine factories?

Thanks Admirals!

Repairing one industry/resource point takes 1000 supply points. Also no repairing under 10000 supply. You don't need engineers.

And there's no way to speed rapairs, it's just one point per turn.

You need > 10000 Supplies at the base to attempt a repair, each point of industry repaired will consume 1000 supply points. Max 1 point of damaged industry can be repaired each turn. No engineers are required.

Example:
Resources 40 (10)
Light Industry 45 (5)

- ideally you should move there 25,000 supplies. LI will be repaired in 5 days and Resources in 10 days total leaving you with 10,000 spare supplies at the place.

And lets say honestly, it is sensless to repair resource center and especially LI. LI will produce just 1 supply point per day, and will cost 1000 supply to repair, this meen it will pass 1000 days before you start gain income on invested capital [:D]

Wow, 1000 supplies per point. That's just about 350,000 supplies[X(] alone to fully repair Miri.. no wonder I've never been able to fully repair it in my games. Thanks folks, that has explained something I've been ignoring for years.

So what you are saying is to repair the damage at PH you dont need the base engineers there?

To repair the shipyard: no
To repair damage to the runway, the airfield service, or the port: yes

As a general rule, you would want to repair the oil but not the refinery.
