Spoot -> Pacing (5/17/2010 8:44:14 PM)

I really like the pacing or tempo of Armada 2526. It affords players like me time to build and learn at a slower pace.

I have SotS and like it a lot as well, but man it seems the other AI players are looking to hunt you down rather quickly.

I like not having to think on turn 20 I am likely to get attacked any time soon so I need to build ships in a big hurry.

Thanks for a fun game that I am enjoying very much and see myself enjoying it for a long time to come.

EDIT: One thing I would love to see is, to have the option to have all ships selected when a move order is issued.

Double R-Clicking the destination selects/moves all ships in the location.

Thank you very much, that is helpful to know. I have only been playing for a day or two now. :)

I agree with Spoot, its plays at a good slow pace much like a turn based empire game should like GC 2. Distant Worlds (sorry to mention that game here) but in comparison can be to fast paced and its on a grander scale so its hard not to get frustrated with all the alarms, AI suggestions and diplomacy offers taking place in the game though you can pause the actio anytime and alter the size of the galax, auto-management and number of AI players but even with these options I find it would have been more simple to manage if it were turn based like Armada.
