When playing with HISTORICAL ON a bare xxx token is displayed in quality troop slot so it's impossible to determine which is the
default value set for countries.

Disabling HISTORICAL preference you can set each quality you prefer but you then have no idea which was the basic for that year...

Since the manual has no entry for this here is the question :

Does anyone of you know about any table showing choosen
values for QUALITY TROOPS according to the year adopted by SPWAW 7.1 ?

I might be mistaken but I believe when you go into the purchase screen after setting your preferences down at the bottom it shows you base experience, moral and leader quality. This changes depending on time period. This is not the quick look that you would get from a spreadsheet but it will give you the info you want if you spend a little time at it.

Actually a pretty good question, Ruxius.

As Gary pointed out, one can always see the base values in the unit purchase screen. But this is only an average, isn't it?

It would be nice, as Ruxius says, to have a comprehensive list of units leadership/experience/morale, year by year, nation by nation.

Anyone got a month or so over to do one? :cool:

I can't add anything else, but to confirm what above, Franz.
A comprehensive table would be nice, but we can survive with the infos displayed in the purchase screen, meantime. :)

Wellll, there is actually, and you all have it!! Nick papp made up one years ago, and it is in the Chlanda folder, called ww2 stats.txt, it prints out to a many paged deal, but is very helpful!! Hope this helps!!!

Hello Friedrick and other members here...
In the purchase menu three parameters are reported :

Base Experience
Base Morale
Base Leader Skill

I wouldn't be really doomed to write down such a table for all
once I know which relationships hold between this three parameters and troop quality switch in the preference screen...
but I found this BIG problem :

Here are some Default settings with HISTORICAL RATINGS ON
in 1941

Germans :
Base Experience 70
Base Morale 70
Base Leader Skill 75

Soviets :
Base Experience 60
Base Morale 60
Base Leader Skill 50

Greeks :
Base Experience 60
Base Morale 65
Base Leader Skill 50


This is what happened after I switched off HISTORICAL RATINGS and choosed 120 for the Germans

Base Experience 120
Base Morale 120
Base Leader Skill 120

Why changing all parameters ?
The same happens to any other nation...

As you will suddenly recognize this is a big altering in a way that
surely it would make historical ON and OFF very different...
(and OFF very anti-historical)
in other words switching it off makes Skill too high !
It seems there is not a way to control them one by one..


Now if only I knew if historical values changes with month or only with year that table would become each day more real...
