Mr.Pink -> flagship Q (5/27/2010 1:32:43 AM)

is there any effect of having the flagship of a TF destroyed? I looked through the manual and didnt see anything.

Barb -> RE: flagship Q (5/27/2010 6:20:29 AM)

I think it has 50% chance for the TF commander to go down with it

John Lansford -> RE: flagship Q (5/27/2010 2:08:45 PM)

I think that only happens if the ship is the last one in the TF; otherwise the commander gets picked up by another ship, which becomes the flagship.

From the manual, page 129:

There is a 50% chance that a TF commander will be killed when the ship he is on sinks.

Thanks for the help. Somehow i missed that. I was thinking there'd be some kind of penalty or morale loss simulating loss of command and control.

Did I kill Tanaka?! Should I look forward to the replay?

This question had nothing to do with our game.. just something I was thinking about. I did send you the next turn though.

I was still at work, putzing around 'til quitting time. Saw the turn in my in-box, but it wouldn't be good to be seen (obviously) playing computer games on the clock. [;)]

Just got home, and firing up the turn now...
