We should have been in Beta, but some nasty bugs showed up, we are close to really start the Beta soon though.

Since it has been over 2 months since the last "when" post was made, I thought I would chime in here and ask if there is any updated news.....

The second phase of the Commander: The Great War Beta has started, around 20 new testers at random are invited to join in the CTGW Beta-test program.

This is the second phase of the Commander The Great War (CTGW) beta. While the purpose of the first phase was mainly to test overall stability, the game is now almost feature complete.

If all goes as planned and we can enter the next third Beta phase without much problems, than we are ready to set a final release date, just watch any official announcements here and at Slitherine. We hope to have good news in the course of the coming month.

This game is definatly on my "Must Have" list. Love to see a release by Christmas, but not holding my breath lol. But I'd rather wait and have a really polished awesome game.

Wow!! Thats way better than I dared hope. I'll definatly stock up on soda, jerky and sugary snack food and send the gf for girls night out! :D

I'm excited to compare this game to my favourite WWI boardgame Fatal Alliances by ADG, in terms of scope and detail.

I have Matrix Guns of August, which is a good game, but will this be better?

The screenshots look great!!
