bhdhtx -> weather (7/29/2002 11:38:52 PM)

Anyone help me out on this? I have played at least 80 hours of this game and I have another question that will hopefully be resolved. It is very bothersome when you get everything organized, example gettin my Jpa carriers is perfect position to take the US CV's out when I get stormed in. Ok thats cool BUT if weather is bad enough for my planes to take off, how can the US planes come in and cause suck havoc on my carriers? If the weather is too bad for my planes to take off, it is too bad for the enemies planes to be able to attack. I dont even know of a modern plane that can actually attack in a squall. Is there any chance of getting this fixed in the upcoming patch? And I know the reason is not my planes trying to take off in the morning and their planes hitting me in the evening when the squall happens to be gone. Esp them getting 2 strikes in the same day and me being shutdown all day.

Appreciate any help on this :D

bhdhtx -> Anyone there ? (8/9/2002 9:56:51 AM)

Was wandering if anyone is out there that might have an opinion on this?

Its harder to take off than it is to bomb? Takes longer?

bhdhtx,

The weather effects have been discussed a fair bit in the forums (isn't it stange how everyone talks about the weather?). Try doing a key word search. I've seen your question asked elsewhere but can't remember where. It was discussed though so if you find it, it may help with your question.

By the way, the impact of weather on air ops (or something like that) is going to be toned down a bit in the next patch. This may reduce the incidents of what you're talking about.

Cheers
