Japanese Ace -> Downloading WITP from a earlier purchase of 2004 (6/13/2010 5:39:50 AM)

Matrix, I bought WITP at its onset back in 2004. At that time downloading the game was unavailable. The time frame now is May 2010, I purchase a new PC (I7 processor) back in January and it worked beautifully, got a virus in April and had to restore the window 7 home edition back to factory settings, thats when the whole problem began. After playing the campaign game from start for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF with my earlier pc (such dedication, right) the game will no longer install onto my new PC. I first had a techie at Office Depot try to fix it, nothing, I then UPGRADED THE pc TO Windows 7 professional, just to run WITP in the XP mode, the techs at microsoft still could'nt fix and determined that my D: drive could not read the game because the disk might have been corrupted. After playing the game for over 6 years I'm not supprised. Well, your my last hope, it was suggest by microsoft that I contact you folks at matrix and ask you if you could give me a download of the game directly into my pc, thereby bypassing my disk drive. For your information, I have no problem playing the Admiral's Edition, but with over a year and a half invested in WIP you can see how far I'm willing to go to play it again. I have my last turn saved on a flash drive just itching to continue the game.

I welcome your assitance, FYI I have a serial number for my game so if your concern is about me having purchased the game, please rest assured I can provide evidence of my purchase. Your earliest response to my problem would be greatly appreciated.

i don't think Matrix monitors this forum... best email them directly... not sure of the email address, but i think it is support@matrixgames.com.
