With knowledge of KB location allies made a deep CV strike into eastern China sea.

2. Biak is going down. Nailed the Haruna and and the heavy cruiser Kako deep in enemy sea lanes near southern japan. The KB is deployed off Vic Point screwing w/ the British. Received a report the Nagato was sunk off GT. Japs have reinforced singers w/ 100000 troops.

bigred -> RE: 44-10-28 (5/1/2014 8:51:18 PM)

Readers can tell by the date stamp how fast we progress. Both FatR and I are into heavy work loads but still make about one turn a week. Biak fell. Victoria point is allied. A IJA kill stack w/ about 14 divisions at Krap is isolated. 4 Jap divisions from Singers presses north to relieve GT.

FatR sank his DD namesake. Maybe DD Stanislav will survive.

IJN moves surface TFs to Babeldoab in effort to reinforce 2 BBs probably damaged in port.

bigred -> RE: 44-11-4 (5/29/2014 9:39:44 PM)

Seems the IJN Surface KB has assembled at Babeldoab to receive more torpedoes from my subs...Night bombing by b24s indicate the Yamato is still in port at Babeldoab and took anothe 500lb bomb last turn.

bigred -> RE: 44-11-4 (5/29/2014 9:42:14 PM)

FatR has moved some subs off of Columbo and is suceeding in sinking a large number of my transports headed to the Burma theatre. I am surprised at the number of Capitol ships FatR has lost in the past month.

I think four years real life..Still having fun even in the face of a loss. Guess I need to post the Victory points.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/27/2014 2:24:00 AM)

FatR has decided to resupply Bebeldoab and Saipan/Guam all at the same time. He sent the KB CVs and a cruiser cover frce to Saipan. At the same time my LR navsearch noted alot of transports also headed to Bebeldoab.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/27/2014 2:30:09 AM)

Into the afternoon of the 18th the Japs come back for more. An allied CV response is prepared after seeing these results.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/27/2014 2:38:10 AM)

In addition the above losses this turn FatR decided to do a sweep over Moulman with his a7m3 Sams and discovered my 100 P51Ds on cap at 50%. It was the first use of my Ds and I was pleased FatR handed me that victory on a silver platter.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/27/2014 2:46:38 AM)

The KB has engaged my amphib fleet w/ 100 transports covered by a cv escort TF w/10 CVEs near Babeldoab. My CV fast carriers have caught an IJN Cruiser Tf at Guam. This the beginning of day 5 for FatR's CVs in combat. The 19th and 20th results will be posted after I recieve a turn from FatR.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/28/2014 3:41:35 AM)

A CV battle occurred Around Babeldoab. I am pleased with these results as FatR did not get away without a scratch.

You guys have truly been at this campaign a LONG time!

Things are definitely looking better for you at this point. How do you feel about the overall situation?

If I get lucky this next turn I may push FatR out of Centpac.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/29/2014 1:47:58 AM)

On the night of nov19th FatR left a CATF cover force at Saipan. I had 2 SAGs at pagan plus a PT Flotilla that were ordered to attack the hex the CV force was occupying the previous turn. The KB moved off to Babeldoab(which is another story) and the following battles occurred.

Reguarding Babeldoab in the 4th frame. I sent 4 DD Tfs to cover Babel because on the previous turn navsearch had discovered a IJN minelaying TF headed to Babel and I wanted to prevent this action by FatR. I have noted that DDs can evade CV air so I like to use DDs in dangerous areas and let the CAs and BBs do shore bombardments. I set the TFs to 0 reaction. I never thought in my wildest dreams FatR would move the KB CVs one hex away of Babel on the afternoon of the 19th. In the morning of the 19th my DDs sank a division of Jap infantry unloading at Babel.

bigred -> RE: It all started at Saipan (7/29/2014 2:10:22 AM)

In a surprise move, FatR sends the KB to Babeldoab.. But on the way in transit a random fate of war occurs, a meeting engagement!!!
