So I made the needed adjustments to allied deployment and first time since early 44 set the DB/TBs into attack mode. Also sent several surface TFs with bombard orders to Shanghai(into expected path of the KB). At end of the following montage I counted 4 undamaged IJN CVs moving past Tushima to Furotaka. This was the surface battle where the USN BB TF finds a IJN CV TF in daytime after a night bombardment of Shanghai.. While the Iowa was reloading at Naha the BB Mass TF rolled out to deal out some damage. I suspect the IJN is no longer a threat to my SLOC.
