However, the problem was always to do with the way the game scales each image. Since the Borg cube uses the most opaque pixels possible in an image, the game scales it much smaller than a ship with lots of transparent pixels in it's image. I think the ship needed to be around 2500 in size to look remotely like the size it should. With a ship scaling factor of 2.0, I believe that's around tech level 6 or 7 (can't check right now) to allow for that size construction. Well, anyway. I hope I can make something work this time!
