Hi all,

Am looking for a medium experience opponent to give me a challenge on my first Grand Campaign.

I am in the middle of a Guadalcanal Scenario and am looking to expand my fight!

Regarding setting and options, I am looking to play a Historical based game and would be looking to use the options that
closely match this stye.

Settings: Historical First turn - up to IJN
Surprise - on
Damage Control - on
Realistic subs - on
fog of war - on
advanced weather - on
no unit withdrawl - off
auto subs - off
expand all at start - off
realistic R&D - on
reinforcements -+15 for both
Player defined upgrades - on
Allied cannot make TFs on turn 1
Only one hit on PH
Realistic use of arty - no massive stacks

More than happy to discuss the above or any additional.

Can play 1 - 2 turns per day sometimes more (late evening GMT player)

I ideally want to see the campaign through to a decisive point - mutually agreed.

Ade

Guys,

Had a few enquires and one almost start - this is still open.

I have plenty of time at the moment to devote to WITP_AE and would really enjoy getting stuck into a Grand Campaign.

I would be willing to play, the only thing is I dislike gamesmanship, like knowing the composition of jap task forces player puts together massive unrealistic forces to counter them. This was historically impossible and I find quite infantile in the extreme.I prefer it to be as realistic as possible.Tommy

I would be willing to play you, I fit the bill on the experience side, about a medium, i think the options are about right as you have them.

advanced weather - on

As someone who's game is in early 1944, may I suggest OFF for weather.

It sounds good..., but in fact it just keeps making the whole map wetter and wetter as the game continues. Unless you want to play 1944 in a permanent typhoon all across the map....
