Windows loves the C drive. The installations are probably failing because they are hard coded to look for windows on C. My solution may not be the fastest but I would reconfigure the drives so that the larger (if that is what you want) is the C (first HD). I would then reinstall windows and such. I had this happen when I got a larger sata drive, I had two, and it was a pain (I had the same issue with the ATI install, it is hard coded for C). I tend to do things rather clinky but that is what I would do, rearrange the drives, double check them in bios and reinstall windows on the "new" c drive (checking the drive sizes before I committed to make sure I had the right one). This way, IMHO, windows "knows" it is on C and all will bw configured correctly. If you leave it as I you may run into other install issues as almost everything looks for windows to be on C
