I still have problems with the game freezing at the end of the naval phase. I have unchecked all the boxes on the naval display and I can now deploy my units without difficulty. The freezes occur about 10-20% of the time. when I hit the end battle button. I have noticed that I can reduce the frequency of freezes by waiting a few seconds before hitting the end battle button. I am using the 1.70 version.
