I have been played the games several times as the German. I am currently into turn 200 in my present game. I have noticed the following that could be improved on in future versions. Artificial intelligence Overall the AI is very good for a game of this complexity. However, as the German, I am able to wipe out the British and French fleets by turn 60 by placing my bombers along the cost and bombing the North sea every turn. The AI never vacates the North Sea or repairs damaged ships. The AI does keep recyling ships but eventually they are all sunk. At this point the German fleet sails. The Amercan fleet meets the German fleet but after a few turns the Amercan fleet is also destroyed. The Americans do rebuild their fleet. The AI packs all land units tightly. This enables me to kill them easily by forcing them to retreat. Balance Problems Cairo is a major supply center for the Brit. This means the Brit can directly deploy units here even when Germany/Italy rule the sea zones. This gives the Brit a mojor advantage which is ahistorical. Britian's control of Eqypt should depend on the control of the sea. I hardly use the strategic bombing. I can cause 7 or 8 points of damage with one strike but it costs me 21 points to replace a lost step.
