hondo1375 -> How do I find moons? (7/25/2010 6:12:45 PM)

Another n00b question. I have a ship that says it is going to moon "Heaff" ... is there some way to search for moons as I have no idea where it is?

It would be so nice, if you could simply click on the name of the moon and then be there... But no.
Until now, I try to see the direction the ship is heading, then search a little, or if I'm unlucky, a lot...

Hyperlinks in the mission description in the selected item box would be nice yes :)

AYE!!! Or at least give me a name of the moon with the system it's in.

AYE AYE
a central library or search option  in the galactic map
now we do have workarounds for this but a consolidated option would be nice

This problem has been around for a while, and has been discussed for vanilla DW quite a bit. I agree that it is very cumbersome from a gameplay perspective - even if it is correct from an astronomical nomenclature standpoint.

For my own colonies I work around that by renaming them to something with the name of the system - that way I can find them easier.

If we had a vector showing the destination of the currently selected ship that shows the current destination (if known), it would also help with this problem.
