I wonder if he's a bad leader, with a good general voice in his head, or the other way around ;)

(just one unit, getting both a good leader and a bad leader adjustment)

Maybe this means, "Your leader sucks, but their leader (the bunny rabbit occupying the base) was even worse."

I think it means leader succeeded in his Land combat roll, but failed in Leadership/Inspiration etc. for example. Apparently there are at least couple of factors rolled here.

"Ok guys, so this is the cunning plan: Johnson you take the right flank, Pete, Charles, you sneak through the batch of trees to the left and wait till they come out,
use your hand grenades and then get em close range, Brad, cover the door with the HMG!
All the others take cover and start shooting when you get the word!

...on the other hand......oh....well.....nah skip that.....lets  do the good old frontal assault.

CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Something like this probably happened.

Or perhaps there were two leaders involved, one from nearby HQ and another one from unit itself.
Not sure if the game should display both of their effects this way though.
