I have one...signed by both authors! One of the later generation H2 sites had autographed copies for sale. Very cool. And you're right, the book is great for tactics.

I have a rather well documented, even though maybe outdated (1992) book from Milan Vego about Soviet naval tactics. Helpful when building scens with the Red banner.

Have a nice day, regards,

Cdr Sylvester

Heard about this one. Must be a great book. Iīll look for it.

Dr Vego is a professor at the US Naval War College. He has written several books, including Soviet Naval Tactics, on naval strategy which make great reading as a background to Harpoon. More recently I have seen a few articles from him at Armed Forces Journal. I exchanged some emails with him a few years ago when researching something for Harpoon, so he's approachable too.

I found Capt. Wayne Hughes' "Fleet Tactics" books to be interesting reads.

"Naval Firepower" is another very good book, especially if you are into the finer details of gunnery and fire control.  It's available at the USNI website bookstore.

It's in my "fun" reading queue.

Harold is working with us on bringing some of his scenarios to ANW v3.10.  We are looking for folks to help in the project for named credit and some other swag.  You only have to buy the e-book and then you can join the team.  Even newbies can help with all aspects of building a "SGR BattleSet"

Contact me for further info.

A quick question, how can we get my copy in e-book format? Tried google just to find the link for a paperback.

It is only available electronically from Amazon, no paper version exists as far as I know.  I would assume that if e-book sales are strong, then a regular publishing contract may be an option....

Hi Don,

Where did you get the ebook from? Jumped on thinking I'd grab it for my kindle but The Amazon link is a paperback and doesn't appear to be a kindle edition. Google-fu got me nowhere either. Is there anywhere else we can buy it?

Anyways think its great your supporting Harold's work. What a guy!

I may have mis-spoke. I'll get a hold of the author and ASK!

Stand by!

Don,

would be great if thereīs an E-Book. I have searched the net for it, but didnīt find anything. Got the paperback version and am on page 20 or so. Really good reading. Strongly recommended.

Yes, it would be great if there's an e-book which has an i/f to iPhone! [;)]

No update on Strike Group Reagon in e-book format, folks simply have to ASK for it at Amazon.

Sorry I can't be of further help.
