Hello everyone again. I have been gone for a bit, my depression kicked in again, so I stopped playing video games and didn't do much. Well hopefully it's gone again and this time dosen't come back.

Before I left I was playing DW for 4 or more hours a day ever day for 2 or 3 months straight. I kept on starting new games trying new things all the time so never really got far into the game, but I loved it.

So now I see we got a new patch. That is great. So what have I missed over the last few months? How was the community here? A bit busy at the moment so no time to try out the new patch so hoping I will get some gaming in tomorrow. So besides the patch what else is new? How is DW selling? Does anyone know? Are the developers happy with the sales? Is there a strategy guide out yet? I always wanted to make one for DW since I never saw one, but sadly my depression kicked in and I lost all intrest in everything. If there is not one out, maybe I can start making a new one. Would love to have help with it.

Well hopefully I will be back, and it's nice to make a post here again.

Have a read at the 'huge new updated' stickied thread by SeanD. It sounds very promising for Distant Worlds. There's even talk of an upcoming expansion!![:)]

I like more politics/diplomatic/economic options. It is too much focused on war right now.

funny, i was thinking the exact opposite as i had taken the 3rd core world (maxed pop) from my neighbor and him still not declaring war, i was definatly not stronger than him either (i started all the ais with old and me with starting)

i think i know what you mean tho, i would like the ability to deal with the super rare resources (like koribban spice and zenbata fluid) over the diplomacy screen similar to civilization Iv

i would like planetary trades too, but i am unshure how it would work very well with how planets revolt due to culture

Domestic politics would be fun as well. Of course you can already have civil war, but in democracies more politics would be fun. Or in monarchies that you have to take care of succession etc.

It goes to fast
taking over an entire world in one or two days is too fast, in my book.
I think it should take longer.
