Igard -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 7:57:07 PM)

Fine work, drillerman. Great site.

I love those early era Star Trek shipsets. [&o][&o][&o]

Are they your own creation?

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 8:15:57 PM)

No, Most ships have been lifted from pictures on the internet. Some I have cobbled together using paint.net. This is a great programme recommended by Elliot himself.

tjhkkr -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 10:49:55 PM)

That is a neat website. And thank you for the ships. [;)]
How did you get DW to use names like 'Silicon Arm'; was Silicon one of your planet names?

tjhkkr -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 10:51:21 PM)

Okay, it means I need to put my ships out there now...
Some Corellian, some Pirate...
And my new Planet list, which added about 50 new SW systems to the game.

shinobu -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 11:21:57 PM)

drillerman- thanks for the site!

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 11:24:39 PM)

"silicon Arms"??? Sorry, you got me there, unless you mean on the background image? If you did it was just generated by the game.

Igard -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/6/2010 11:37:44 PM)

Look at the arm on the left of the background image. It called the 'Arm Arm'.[:D]

Very strange, I've never seen these names before.

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 12:00:42 AM)

Ah, I did do a lot of copy/pasting to get a large picture for the background, it may be that!

Igard -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 12:24:38 AM)

That must be it.

Drillerman, are you going to have a look at more planet images using the Celestia Motherlode site? I started imaging some of the planets from the Star Trek page (find them on the planet textures open thread). I'm going to slowly work my way through and hopefully some kind folks will help me out.[;)]

DTFS -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 12:50:18 AM)

looking good

Already did! That's how I did all the barren rock planets.

WoodMan -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 12:38:37 PM)

Hey dude!  Very nice site and shipsets!!!! Good job.

2guncohen -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 12:58:26 PM)

Will you add ship-sets of other people ???

tornnight -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/7/2010 3:50:32 PM)

Absolutely Awesome. I can't wait for more!

If they pass my stringent QA departmental tests![:D] Seriously, it depends on how much space I am allowed to use for pics and files.

tjhkkr -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/8/2010 12:32:24 AM)

Well, those QA people need to get at it.
I really liked these ship sets. The starbases in particular were neat!

Baleur -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/9/2010 3:34:16 PM)

I tried downloading but the files "finished" prematurely, resulting in corrupt files :(

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/9/2010 5:28:22 PM)

Baleur,
Try again, it may depend on the time of day. I have just d/l some to check and they were ok.

Simulation01 -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/25/2010 3:46:13 AM)

Good stuff.  I really liked the Early Romulan Era set.  I had seen pictures of those before and was wanting them, so Great Job!

lordxorn -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/25/2010 6:46:28 AM)

Drillerman love what you have done with your stuff and your site, [&o]

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (8/25/2010 7:13:49 PM)

drillerman -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (9/9/2010 8:03:20 PM)

Caldari Ship set "NOW AVAILABLE" d/l here: http://www.wix.com/maccca/distant-worlds

tjhkkr -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (9/10/2010 4:45:16 AM)

I see that drillerman's background includes different colored connections... some blue, some red...
Mine always come up green. Is there any way to control these colors?

By the way, the ships in this mod are nice.

Gloryseeker -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (9/10/2010 8:53:12 PM)

What exactly do you mean by connections?  The dashed lines between planets?  That depends on what colour you choose when you start the game

the1sean -> RE: Shipset website!!!!!! (9/15/2010 9:30:55 PM)

Great website and ships, just had to share some encouragement and gratitude!

I am telling you, I am still learning all the little pieces to this game; once again my hats off to the designers. [&o]
