Morning men

Is the house still standing?

Yes and now we have a BFU.

He's sat on the couch with daughter unit watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Nice to see an airgap between them on the sofa.

Admirable restraint in the young man. I recommend you let him live for now.

18 months ago, Sara and I won a silent auction at the Carolina Hurricanes charity Casino Night.  Due to a lot of scheduling conflicts, the last part of that auction prize is finally taking place today.  We are going to play golf with two of the Hurricanes players, including my favorite NHL player, Erik Cole.  [8D]

Sounds like you need some ZOING!(TM) to start your day off right...

Yummy in my coffee!

Youre a trusting soul, Mike.

Nah. I've had lots of helpings of ZOING!(TM) in my coffee over the years. [:)]

Bueller?........Bueller?..........Bueller?

Onime No Kyo -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/12/2010 5:13:32 PM)

I must express my awe at midomi.com. I have Soundhound on my iPhone but I never seriously used. This thing is absolutely amazing. Within 7 seconds or less it will pick out any song, English, Russian, French, Turkish, anything I've thrown at it. [&o][&o][&o][&o]

It's a sunday morning.....why are you not either at church or hung over? [:D]

AW1Steve -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/12/2010 5:43:58 PM)

BTW, am I still suspended? Or is it kind of like the "double secret probation" that I'm still on with management? [:D]

Church? As I told my ex who dragged me to mass one day, at the part where everyone was getting up for wine and crackers, "do they feed Jews here too?"

Cheese, though, I can pass on. The stuff my parents and GFU like smells like dirty socks to me.

Then you need to learn to appreciate the English ones. Farmhouse cheddar was made for beer (well ale, anyhow) and stilton with port (perfect dessert!).

My wife's rooom mate in the UK (at college) was a Hasid (spelling?) from Long Beach with four brothers that are Rabbis (One in Tel Aviv). I still recall one morning she was lecturing us on Kosher dietary laws while demolishing a plate of bacon! [&:][:D]
