Woof !! People on some other technical threads are asking about bike stuff so wanted to move it here. quote:
ORIGINAL: Alfred Seriously didn't know about the American after market add ons. Back here we only very occasionally see a kelpie or cattle dog riding freestyle on a bike. Usually they are catching a lift home from a day's work rounding up the sheep. Don't usually see any riding pillon on urban roads. Alfred Oh, groin. Here's the Beast Rider cozy I'm getting. What ya don't really see is the harness arrangement for the dog. Only long enough to let him sit up, get some good air, and lick your ear (or your helmet), adjustable, of course. The cozy has enough volume to let a dog curl up and do a donut. Has a solid base, front and rear support. A lot of Harley people like this one. It does require the dog and the human to do a course so they both know what to do and what to expect. Most riders use this system and find it perfectly adequate. A motorcycle isn't a car, for either a dog or the rider. In a car there's the tendency to just stick the dog in the back and hoof on down the road. On a motorcycle, one makes more frequent stops and the frequency turns out to be just what a Beast Riding doggie needs. Oh, trust me Alfred, I'll keep Beaudy as safe as I would keep myself. But I would have the right equipment to take Beaudy on roadtrips. [image]local://upfiles/17451/24621EE3172E4DA6916DDF70BA66EEA2.jpg[/image]
