I just heard that the new job I interviewed for can't hire me because the company president just mandated no more hiring people who only work remotely. The manager said he loved the feedback he got about me from my interview, and told my brother (currently employed there) that he honestly would have hired me solely on my brother's recommendation. That's nice to know, but it still sucks! [:D]

I still count my blessings, though. I do have a reason that I have to get up and leave the house again tomorrow morning. This just would have been a major improvement in every way.

Actually, being unemployed isn't all that bad. Between unemployment, my drill check (which does not count as income) and my wife's income, we can live comfortably without touching our emergency funds. It's odd how things work out.

In honor of Dr Demento and this favorite song of mine.......i learned this week that my Ex and her "Country Boy" have moved to Pasco Wa where the latter owns a family house and has gotten a new job there.......most likely one involving farm animals.

I google mapped Pasco WA out of curiosity.

She was right. There was no way i was going to support a move to a place in the middle of nowhere where the premier yearly event is the Farmer's market.

While i am sad at this final "closure of the closure" which reopened the scab that was slowly healing.......i feel better every time i take a virtual drive down the main street of "downtown" Pasco. yuk!
