I played the first battle in the short Tulagi campaign last night and made the AI much tougher. What I would like to know is how the computer got such a high score against me.
There were four 250 pt victory hexes which I captured three of, and there was the big one which was worth a massive 4,250 pts. So another words at the end of the battle I had the Japs on the retreat and they only had 250 pts to my 5000 pts. I lost 33 men to their 137. I also lost 2 LVT's.
So my question is, considering they were normal VH's, is why the computer got so many points against me (3300). I ended up with a draw but I think I should have at least got a marginal victory.
Does anyone have any answers as to why this might have occurred?
