buffcoat -> Effects of being surrounded (9/29/2010 3:38:39 PM) Hi, new to this game and due to blind luck I have surrounded 15 Russian corps. What do i do now? Will they gradually disintergrate or do I need to destroy them through combat, is there an optimal point when they weaken etc. Any advice gratefully received.[:)]

SMK-at-work -> RE: Effects of being surrounded (9/30/2010 10:50:50 AM) If you keep them surrounded they will disappear - I forget exactly what the rule is - I think they loose readiness, and when it reaches 0 they are gone - which means low readiness ones might disappear almost right away. From memory supply is traced to a city - but cities that are cut off from the rest of the country have limited ability to supply troops in proportion to their points value. Edit - found an old thread on the supply rules and bumped it
