So after 50 hours or so of fun work setting up a fairly big new scenario (roadtesting the new patch), a strange bug seems to have struck. A single unit (fittingly perhaps, the one representing Joseph Stalin) in the OOB suddenly disappeared from the map and is impossible to select in the editor. This throws the scenario into "not complete". Is there a way to delete the unit from the scenario file easily? Any other fix? Any chance I could ask one of the experts here to take a look at the file and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I can't seem to find an "attach file" button on the forum here but could email the file. Any help gratefully received.

You can save the scenario as an xml file. Then you could open it (I use Open Office) scroll down to Joe and manually delete him. I've never deleted a unit this way but I have edited units using the xml file after Ralph told me about the ability. Worked like a charm.
