You guys have just created a real problem for me by patching. In my other 2x2 I gave my word that I would not patch , till we all agreed to. You guys just went ahead and patch without even talking about it. By taking that action, you've rendered me unable to play in your PBEM. [:(]

Steve install a new copy of the game, and rename it AE-2 or something. Patch the new install up to the patch before this one, and play your other PBEM on the new install. Mind you this is only a suggestion. [:)]

I saw the replay just for kicks, but I dont see any point in doing the turn if we have to redo it anyway.

Sorry about this.

DivePac is spot-on with his note. It is quite easy to make a new AE Folder and upgrade into that. I have AE--Vanilla, AE--Reluctant Admiral, and AE--Juan Mod in my folders. If, as a total computer idiot, I can do it anyone can!

And gentlemen: I'd really appreciate the courtesey of discussion before anyone unilaterally makes any changes again. I kind of assumed that would go with a one year+ commitment. But I guess not. Yury, we should have discussed this before we patched. Now is academic. whatever the problems associated with this patch, we now own them. We are the Guinea pigs. We have to live with it.
