Yes Armada 2526 is following Zawinski's Law that all programs expand until they can send email.
I'm just putting the final touches to the expansion's PBEM system, and need a few good folks to help me test it. Obviously playing one turn a day isn't going to get any useful results before release, so I need people can play at the same time, sending results back and forth and get through a decent number of turns. Email me at bob@ntronium.com if you think you can help. As a bonus you'll also get to check out some of the new expansion system features.
The game requires you to create a gmail account for Armada 2526. Email handling is then done automatically inside the game via this account. You can also give it your regular email address, and notifications will be send when a new turn is ready. All players do their turns simultaneously, then send their orders to the host who processes them, and sends back a result.
