Reserve BG's don't use the points.

With the new system/update to LSA you can use the Reserve BG's ACTIVE units for no cost. If you buy/replace units in either the Front line or Reserve BG then points will be used....

I switch to the Reserve BG (Grenadier Guards of Guards Armour, same Formation) and suddenly I have 36 Formation Points again!

This could be a bug or it could be working properly.

If the Front Line and Reserve BG starting points are ALWAYS the same then it seems to be a bug. As you would expect the Reserve BG to have only remaining unspent Front line points, 7 in your example, not the starting points 36 which you saw.

If the Front line and Reserve BG starting points are not ALWAYS the same then points are being tracked separately per BG and each BG can buy units that will stay active which is how would think it work. Though based on what you said then there is a bug as the Front line points were reduced after using points on the Reserve BG.

The Battlegroup Point Pool seems to work properly, it stays on a solid zero when I switch between the two Battlegroups. It's the Formation Point Pool that jumps back to 36 when I switch from the Frontline BG to the Reserve BG (as you can see in earlier posts, it don't do that when I switch back to the Frontline BG after spending points from it at the Reserve BG)
-Shouldn't the Formation Point Pool remain the same for all units of a formation until it replenish, in this case 8 when I switch to the Reserve BG?

Hi
I get a CTD anytime when I try to get to the deployment phase.
See what's wrong
PS I had to add a .txt to the zip file as I could only upload txt or jpg file

What patch are you using... if any?

maybe you should add your crash to this thread

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2665894

So it can be tracked.

I do use the 5.60.50 beta patch
Unfortunately there's no crash text.
All I can say is that i'm running a windows 7 64 bit
The CTD happens after the "Initializing AI" box

The file and version will hopefully be enough info for the developer to recreate/see the problem....
