Okim -> Game crash on clicking (12/16/2010 10:33:38 PM)

Got DW:TROS. Installed it over my updated Distant Worlds. It shows that it is 1.5 version and says that the game is up-to-date.

Launching the game.
1. Selecting 200 stars even clusters galaxy, 5 enemy races, random race. Everything loads normaly.
2. Going into design screen and redesigning military ships and both mining stations. Making most of the non-essential designs obsolete (small/large spaceports, research and other stations) while leaving all required civilian ships.
3. Manually retiring ALL existing mining stations (right click-retire-scrap immidiatelly). BTW, there is no retrofit option on the base. I thought that i saw someone saying that constructor can retrofit bases. Am i wrong?
4. Sending constructors to rebuild all the mines.
5. Building some explorers and sending them out.
6. Clicking on any planet after that crashes my game with this error (there is plenty of russian here, sorry):

This happens right after i exit design screen. For some reason this makes every new game of mine to crash while trying to select any object in the game.

I just want to add that this crash happens after i delete some of the existing designs ( i always delete all research, resorts and defence stations leaving only original space port design; i redesign mining stations deleting their original designs and modify all military ships. Other civilian ships are left as is).

I hadn't noticed that it was only unoccupied planets...that at least makes the game playable. :/ Will have to test that a bit. (Just wish the game didn't take so long to launch and the saves so long to load. :(

Update: Confirmed for unoccupied planets, stars and asteroids.

Hi Okim. Thanks for the detailed report.

This happens if you are missing any critical designs, which includes things like monitoring stations, research stations, resort bases, colony ships, etc.

For now, please ensure that you do not completely delete these designs from your game - you should be able to make them obsolete though.

We'll fix this in the next update.
