SoliInvictus202 -> patch installment question (12/19/2010 6:04:36 PM)

I know it maybe has been asked many times - but I am facing the following problem - please forgive for asking again:

I have 2 games going - one as Japs and one as Allies - I updated my game to the latest version (as I had to when playing the Japanese to follow the posted procedure to keep the game working properly) - but now it appears that my opponent in my game as Allies hasn't done so before me (we had a break in our game due to RL issues)....

so my question would be:

if I updated the game before he did - will this seriously jeopardize our game in the future? - if so: is there any other way to fix this than me reinstalling the game with the prior patch - then playing my turn as Allies again and then update to the latest one?

thanks for your patience to try to help a guy who asked a question again, which has probably been answered many times already - but I didn't find any helpful threads on the first few pages of TechSupport...

Regards,
SolInvictus

bigred -> RE: patch installment question (12/19/2010 10:24:54 PM)

Hi Soli. I have a game file for each player. I also have 2 games currently. I create a new folder, copy then paste the origianl game into the folder, each folder designated for a different player. Now I have 3 game folders, the original, then one for each player.

I do try to keep all the upgrades current, but if need be I can hold off on upgrading one game until my opponent is ready.

I also save all the upgrades in case I need to "downgrade".

I hope this is one answer to your question.
