This printed manual is very attractive and legible. Much more so than the "War Between the States" printed manual.

So I encourage those who are thinking about getting the boxed version with printed manual to do so.

I am very pleased with the printed manual also. Kudos to all involved!

Yes it is nice, but keep in mind though that its not the entire manual. Some who bought the boxed version only because they wanted the printed manual might be a little dissapointed. The printed manual at 128 pages is roughly half of the E-Book manual...

"Dissapointed" is putting it very mildly in my opinion, more a very big rip-off. The fact that it is only less than half the manual should be stated clearly in the ad.

Since 1st release there has been, and continues to be, so many changes that the printed manual would have to be re-done quite often. The manual is a real assist to getting started for beginners, and was so to me. The regularly updated E-manual covers important, essential details needed once past the beginners experience.

Yep, I took a 2 year break after play testing the snot out of this game and writing both tutorials (the published and unpublished ones). If you click on the Updated Game Manual from the GGWITE game launcher you can easily find and read up on any changes through out the manual.

There is no way I would want (or need) to print off (all the trees needed to be killed notwithstanding) a manual and from a business sense (with all the patches over the years) it makes no sense to print out a (tree killing) manual ever time a change was made.

IMHO of course and YMMV and TEHO and as we used to say in the Cav "Lima, Lima, Mike Foxtrot"!
