Setekh -> RotS will not load / Crash on game startup (12/24/2010 1:23:06 PM) Well, I just bought the expansion but I can't play it... Read a few of these threads and none of the stuff posted was of any help. Windows account is an admin account. Running as admin for the main exe/autorun did not work. Reinstalling does not work. Windows media player is installed and up to date. Internet Explorer is installed and up to date.

I managed to resolve this by uninstalling an editing program for another game which also used the .NET framework. I can only imagine that it botched my current install of 4.0 and caused DW to give me the finger. Removing that program and the .net and reinstalling both DW/RotS and then .NET 4.0 fixed this.
