Elliot,

I was wondering if you could fix it so that the super tech will always be shown.

IE. The Starburner which is the top engine, when I have the Only Show Latest Components, it will not show the Starburner and only show the Proton Thruster.

Is there a way to flag the Super techs as the latest tech?

Personally I wish the "show latest components" would remember that I've unticked it and that I don't have to untick it every time I enter the design screen
Also would be nice if I can pick and choose which would show
Sometimes the newer components aren't as good

There is also a problem with the upgrade button replacing superior components just because they show up on top of the latest components list. I can work around that but I guess the AI can't, and will eventually use inferior stuff.

Maybe Elliot can give this area of the game some more attention for the next patch. [:D]
