FM WarB -> Casualty calculations (1/2/2011 4:47:27 AM)

I notice from perusing the '41 AARs that casualty calculations have changed. I looked only at German casualty rates, as Russian "disabled" which I will call WIA (wounded in action) surely became prisoners at a large rate.

In BigAnorak's alpha tests I noticed that KIA (Killed in Action) exceeded WIA by anywhere from 6 to 2 to 1.

In the Bob vs Don AAR, run with the latest system, I see KIA-WIA rates at approximately 1-1, which is an improvement.

How do they look in later year scenarios for the Russians, when they are not suffering alot of POWs?

One to One KIA to WIA is an improvement, but it may not go far enough.

Stalin made the Russian Army stand fight and counter attack, to see the level of prisoners that occured historically you would either have to a/ script Russian units to stand their ground (Are we going to do the same with the Germans from dec 41 on) b/ Tie the system to a political and victory point system which punishes the Russian (and German) player for uncontested retreating.
