bongina -> 1.08.05 (1/7/2011 3:37:39 AM)

Is there a new patch?

pzgndr -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/7/2011 12:28:17 PM)

If you check out the Mantis change log, you'll notice quite a bit of v1.08.05 hotfix work going on. Marshall has been busy this week!

bongina -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/7/2011 2:57:35 PM)

Yes, I saw it, but was not sure if it has been released yet.

Marshall Ellis -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/10/2011 1:03:45 PM)

We've got the new image in the testers hands and there may be a few tweaks but a hot fox is coming soon!

Dancing Bear -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/18/2011 2:46:38 AM)

Any update here?

Marshall Ellis -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/19/2011 12:32:57 PM)

I think I am going to see about adding a few more fixes to the image. I'm pretty shot until late this week but am going to try another marathon coding session late this week / early next week!

Dancing Bear -> RE: 1.08.05 (1/20/2011 2:51:15 AM)

Excellent news Marshall. Crunching those few remaining bugs is time well spent.

bongina -> RE: 1.08.05 (2/24/2011 12:41:12 AM)

Reading the change log for 1.8.05, it seems that it would correct several very major issues that we are having. Could we get a copy to play with?

Marshall Ellis -> RE: 1.08.05 (3/1/2011 12:10:19 PM)

Well, we cannot quite do that yet! We have released it to Matrix for them to build the install image so it will be available very soon!

Dancing Bear -> RE: 1.08.05 (3/9/2011 10:51:43 PM)

Hi Marshall
any update on Matrix's progress with 1.08.05 to report?

Marshall Ellis -> RE: 1.08.05 (3/16/2011 2:32:54 PM)

None. They are really backed up!

gazfun -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/1/2011 7:37:29 AM)

wow so that a 14day back up now [X(][>:]

Dancing Bear -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/1/2011 1:02:49 PM)

Hi Gazfun,
check your math, we're up to 30 days. Someone want to email Erik Rutins and remind him about EIA. Also bug him about giving the ok for the classic map while you're at it.

Yearworld -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/1/2011 4:20:42 PM)

Good news I heard for sure 1.08.05 will be out today!

Oh wait.......nooooooooooooooooo its April Fools today!!!

Yearworld

bongina -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/4/2011 3:46:16 PM)

Indeed. It should take mere minutes to post a patch.

BTW, how do I get into the testing group? I'd like to play-test patches before they are released.

Bart

gazfun -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/10/2011 1:47:12 PM)

Marshall are they in fact going to do an upgrade, it seems that we have been forgotten?

Mardonius -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/13/2011 1:47:54 PM)

Please.... any update?

pzgndr -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/13/2011 10:57:14 PM)

v1.08.05 public beta was released last week, 4/5/11. Check the Members Club.

Mardonius -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/29/2011 1:20:39 PM)

Anybody else note that Marshall has not been on the forums since 3/16/2011...

That is really disturbing.

Dancing Bear -> RE: 1.08.05 (4/29/2011 2:04:04 PM)

I got an email from Marshall yesterday. His other job has get him working long hours. He says he should have some time to devote to EIA next week and the week after.

Sorta -> RE: 1.08.05 (5/24/2011 2:06:38 PM)

For the Dip phase does Spain still have to go last - I remember a discussion on this a while ago but can't find it.

Regards, Angus

AdmNelson -> RE: 1.08.05 (5/24/2011 10:28:44 PM)

Yes-- Spain is last on diplomacy and then is first up on reinforcement

Sorta -> RE: 1.08.05 (6/4/2011 6:52:06 PM)

Any news from Mordor? Forum is quiet, too quiet.

Mardonius -> RE: 1.08.05 (6/6/2011 1:47:04 PM)

Yes. Too quiet. My guess is that this has run its course and we will be lucky to see any new patches.

bongina -> RE: 1.08.05 (6/6/2011 5:08:14 PM)

I hope not. My group has tried playing with 1.8.04 and 1.8.05 BETA and found both to be too cumbersome and too buggy. We are still waiting on a version that's worth the original price tag of the game.

pzgndr -> RE: 1.08.05 (6/6/2011 10:11:56 PM)

v1.08.06 continues development.  Marshall HAS made some recent updates (see Mantis change log) but his day job commitments are keeping him busy.  This has been slow, but lately moreso than usual?

AS Oddball would say "Knock it off with the negative waves.  Have a little faith baby!"  [;)]

Of all the six game we have going here running on 1.08.05 have had too many issues yet, nothing admin now cant handle.

Johnlax -> RE: 1.08.05 (6/7/2011 2:51:09 PM)

I gather from reading posts here that the patch 1.08.05 is an important one I love the topic and scale and am holding back here before I purchase. I have heard great things about the board game version and was hoping to hear how close this game comes to it? Also are there basic platform stablity issues on this one. To honest I know the time committment involved in these games ( I have UV and WITP-AE ) and am 60 yo and do not want to waste my time and efforts on a game that does not fly Can someone guide me here?
PS I play board games and currently playing Nappy Was by GMT and enjoy that ( realize EIA is more detailed)
