ORIGINAL: Jdog Not sure if this is caused by the new patch, shorter supply lines for the Germans (having retreated about 50-70 miles in places), or some deeper triggers within the game itself but my offensive capabilities as the Germans seemed to radically improve overnight on turn 36. No change in weather (still Ice/10), my units in constant retreat, but their CV just went up all along the front. The change was just as sudden as the onset of winter when all units seemed to become helpless overnight. I understand winter conditions and all of that, but what is it that causes these changes specifically? Is it an assumption that German units are not prepared for winter? And what causes the improvement? My units in many cases are 1/3 of pre-winter strength yet they perform better now than in early December. Even the Romanians are a hair better...Anyone know? Thanks! IIRC, in February the Blizzard effects change from indescribably horrible to absolutely abominable, a great improvement [:D]
